Proposed Workshops for 2009 Term 1: Tatachilla Lutheran School ‘Eco-classroom’ visit in week 9 Term 2: Carbon and Biodiversity Credit Offsets Workshop’ 19th May Education Development Centre Term 3: Food and the Environment – 27th August e.g. organic, food miles, community gardens etc Term 4: AGM and Games Night at the Global Education Centre. 28th October Education Development Centre AAEE-SA Chapter held its AGM and final workshop at the Global Education Centre. Thanks to Francine Smith for introducing the Global Education Centre. Members enjoyed the opportunity to share their knowledge and play global games. The evening concluded with the AGM. Challenging food kilometres and our food choices at Bowden Bromptom Community Centre The evening held at the community centre challenged our carbon footprint in relation to the food we consume. We also had the opportunity to view the fantastic community garden. Thank you to Elise Harris and Francine Smith for their informative presentation. See some pictures of the evening
