It is a good story. I think I understand what you are saying. Telling of the trip outward and then the longing for the trip back. Only the trip back is hard because when we first began the journey into Self and Munn we were not conscious enough to remember how we got there. And other people were defining the path and we did not question. Once we became conscious of how far we had traveled and how isolated we had come to be we were frightened. Then it was obvious -- what had to happen next. And now the leg of the journey back to the Center and maybe we will never figure out how to get there.

And humbly apologizing if I have misunderstood or in any way despoiled your message. However it is a beautiful description of an epic journey. And a very personal glimpse -- takes real authenticity and real guts to do this.

Your fictional, near-to-the truth, story about the journey out of and away from Sacch Khand Divine Origin Central, and the pass-through MEST in the magnifying suit and beyond, is incredibly amazing to me ... !

Still improving on the story contents. Improved version is in Sikhphilosophy.net under the thread "What is Faith and Dharma."

Amrjit Paji, if you find this amazing, it can also mislead thousands of people coz it is mixing fragments of spiritual elements and psychology. In sikhphilosophy.net I mentioned it as a self-created fiction - partly because I don't have to be on the defence to prove anything, and partly to get people thinking.

But guess what, I was merely laying down the small chits of notes I gathered over time and tried to create a workable plan. In other words, I was thinking aloud to sort things out in my very confused state.

Toniji,
I feel that the journey back home is different from the outward journey that you rightly termed. The main difference of course will be discarding the influence of maya via mind. The three gunas are the prison and one cannot underestimate the improsioning effect of Sato Gun. Writing this note also involves Sato Gun coz I want feedback want to indulge on self-importance with praises from you.

This is a very tricky situation we all get trapped into. Once we are engrossed in our work and have humility (due to short-comings from our part) then we are truly using the rocket fuel (LOL) to reach Turiya Pad or Fourth stage. And alot of effort is needed to attain orbit (free from the downward pull). Most of the time, we are alone on this oddessy.

Everybody can hear the Anhad Naad regardless of whether a person is a believer or non-believer. In the beginning it will be heard in one inner ear. Later in both. A time comes when you realise that it is not in the ears anymore but everywhere, it never leaves you. When our mind is engrossed in worldly activities, it dissappears. But the sound is always there, just like the stars are always there during daylight but are not visible.

Once we are in Orbit, our vision changes coz there is little influence from Maya. With this new perspective, a whole new world unfolds before us. There is more but not needed now as we have a hard climb before us.

At least now it is clear that you have been in a significant creative zone -- and therefore your prolific and reflective writing over a couple of days. I have been laboring under the influence of a dreadful virus and maybe flu -- hard to see, hear, swallow, concentrate, talk, walk, and even email requires that I go back to bed for a few hours before continuing with any of the other things that I normally do. I wanted to give you that praise and feedback that Sato Gun sheepishly requests. But fever and vertigo wouldn't let me.

You know, a little Sato Gun isn't such a bad thing as long as it is right there and up front.

So here is more praise and feedback. Actually I am starting to understand this mystical process better. One of the best things about Universal Mind is that when you or anyone else tracks through a personal journey, be it emotional, psychological or spiritual, or all of that, the use of story and narrative will be appreciated here -- and not dismissed as mental confusion or evidence of a weakened state of spirit. You know what I am talking about. Not only did the story clarify many things, but your most recent analogies with aerodynamics and rocket mechanics shed even more light. Why this happens is one of the great mysteries of human intelligence -- which is not the Horror of Haumei that it is sometimes made out to be.

A short departure from your commentary - but the gunas? I am still too new to Sikhi and too ill to really work on the concept of the 3 gunas in relation to what you are saying other than to acknowledge that they are obstacles that came in to being because on another plane they, the gunas, play a role that makes sense in their own context.

Keep writing, this is an amazing genesis. We are helped by this, and reflect more and grow more by your sharing it. By tomorrow I may be able to make a sensible reply.

My son once asked me as to who is ahead in spirtual state and who is behind.
Gurbani says that a person is only near or far ,eventually it does not matter as all jyote swaroop. And also that who is bad or good when hukam is there all will merge from where they have originated.( ref. chopaee sahib).
Here is an illustration through which I explained our stage of path and the choosen path.

We journey in a circle. At one point in the circle we are near and at another point we are farthest from HIM.
During our journey all are at one point or another. We also choose how we traverse the path..
This circle is also a flexible circle.
Suppose a person is at one point and the goal is next point. The person chooses his own path to traverse towards that next point in the circle from a varied no of potentialities.
This circle is flexible and it adjusts to accomodate the path choosen.

Every one chooses their own paths. Their choices readjusts their circle.

When a person reaches the point where he is in oneness , there after he may choose to continue again in the circle rather than staying at the same place. At other points also we do stay for some time.
During the state of union we are nearest and otherwise in separation. Their are different experiences during our journey both good and bad. Some of love and some of fear.
During our journey we do have a time when we feel the union. In our deepest sleep we are nearer to HIM.
During waking hours the hukam is that our state of union is not remembered by us and so also our previous births during our journey in the circle.
As it is a circle who can be said to be ahead of the other.

Our journey in our deepest level is a journey out of love .This is a journey for experience of different states.Love and the union is always within us.
The longing for return is an experience and so is the act that separates us further in darkness.

The circle on which we journey is is the path constructed by the collective consciousness of us all whereever we are.As our collective choices change so does the path and the way of the journey.

Gurmit Ji,

Your expositions continue to be very informative and highly impressive to me as I slowly read through all that you write!

Could you in any way relate to and incorporate with your writings; the alpha, beta, theta and delta rhythms of the brain, the last perhaps as being the "Turiya" awastha ?

Thanks
