Amarjit ji

You are absolutely right in equating Delta level with turia awastha.
These awasthas are experienced during our being within the body and hence everything within us is interconnected. The spiritual level affects the mental ;the mental level emotional level ; and the emotional level physical. There is reverse direction of above also from physical to spiritual.
Here is a correspondence table which I have been researching for bringing clarity to our relationship with shabad guru for my blog post.

I have not yet finalised this table.
This is an initial conception and may Guru get it refined further.

Gurmit Veer Ji

Many thanks for the excellent table - both attached versions are good ( *.jpg ) and ( *.doc )

I have printed it out for my closer study ...

I saw something similar by Bhai Sahib, Bhai Kirpal Singh of Radio & TV Malaysia roughly about 10 - 16 years ago. He is an Electrical, and Electronics ( Radio & TV Engineer ) He is reitired. Probably lives in Sydney with his son Dr. Prithipal Singh. He used to go round the world holding Simaran Sessions, round the world.

If I come across his tabulation, I hope to forward it to you. He also talks about the EEG and the brain Rhythms. He is a contemporary of Deepak Chopra ...

Once again I am thunderstruck by the similarities in our thoughts, Gurmit ... !!! :)

Best regards

Amrjit

PS I am emailing you something about Science and Gurbani after this ... I hope you like it :)

Thank you Amarjit ji
Will sure like to see any other tabulation.
In this table Surt - Shabad abhyas is to be added at appropriate place.
There is accompanying opening/refining of chakras is also there but their placements is to be decided after an intuitive understanding is received.

Path in Gurmat starts from near the Third eye chakra. The focus point is inside the head and not out near brows.
The other chakras get awakened automatically as the devotee progresses further thus obviating the need to start from base chakra. Here in lies another difference in the path from yog mat.
In gurmat the the stage is from jap to simran to shabad surt abhyas and thereafter the shabad pulls the consciousness upward beyond even the sixth chakra opening in the state of union. A state of oneness.
Lets see how it develops further.

Gurmit Jio,

In your 'correspondence' table Surt - Shabad abhyas is to be added at appropriate place.

Is the following pungatee useful in that placement, of Surt-Shabd or Naam Kelah? ---> As follows [SGGS - Panna 943]:

The potential Divine Power (Shabd, Naam, Holy Life Force) residing inside is the Guru (Guide, Master) and its authentic experience as a spontaneous feeling in estasy, becomes the Discipleship

implying the potential of there being an "Internal Guru" :

[SGGS - Panna 943]

... Shabd Guru Surt-Dhun Cheilaah ...

Amarjit veerji
This table is quite interesting and depicts some more things.
It is giving me new ideas.
However the turiya state is given corresponding to theta level in this table.
Turiya is fourth state. Here there is direct experience of consciousness.Gurbani explains that the experience comes from the shabad.
Its placement is to be carefully thought up in accordance with gurbani.

Veer Gurmit Ji

I understand. Please use what is helpful to you. That which corroborates your placement thoughts or enhances them.

I'll try to read and investigate his writings ( Bhai Sahib Bhai Kirpal Singh Ji - d.o.b.= 16th Jan 1921) to see if there is a salient reason why he placed the Turiya state at the Theta level ... otherwise I agree with you that it should be at the Delta Level, as originally inferred in my post above !

I don't have a good, clear grasp of the "Shabd Guru" at this point in time, though ... will be grateful if you could help here, in any way.

Also if you ( or our other members - Bhai Santokh, for instance ) could say something about Rajo Gun, Tamo Gun and Sato Gun, as requested above by ToniJi as well ... will be wonderful ...

Best regards
