The
S.A. Country Fire Service Happy Valley Brigade would like to
thank the community for their donations in our fundraising
events.
Without the time, dedication an commitment of our volunteers, the CFS would not exist in our community. The CFS provides a valuable resource both in the prevention of bush fires and the controlling and extinguishing of fires both in urban and rural areas. The CFS receives a budget from the Government which is used for the purchase and maintenance of the fire appliances, protective fire fighting uniforms and equipment. These budgets are limited as monies are allocated to every Brigade in the State. Our Brigade appreciates donations in order to help with these costs as well as the purchase of much needed equipment. Our latest fundraising events were held on the :
Previous fundraising events have assisted in the purchase of a 1 4 Appliance which is used for spot fires, liaising with the Appliances, and transporting crew during a major fire. Our Brigade is one of only a few with this resource to use in our community. Your generous donations will contribute to the purchase of much needed fire fighting equipment. Currently our Brigade is reviewing the purchase of much needed equipment.
