Musical Director - Darryl Pope

Darryl became musical director of the second Wind Ensemble just six weeks after its formation, and has remained involved ever since.

From a musical family, Darryl followed in his father's footsteps in becoming a musician. Studying trumpet from a young age, Darryl has performed with a variety of bands and ensembles in Adelaide throughout his career. These include all genres of music: traditional jazz, big bands, brass bands, concert bands, orchestras, brass quartets and a number of theatre and specialty performance groups.

Darryl is well known as a performer, teacher of brass instruments, and director of music at Wilderness College.
