The class takes approximately six hours - from 10am to 4pm - and in that time you will learn about the history of Reiki and how Reiki came to the Western world. You will also learn about the five Reiki Principles.

There will be plenty of demonstration and practice time so that you will learn how to give a complete Reiki treatment to yourself and others.

During the course of the day you will receive an Attunement or "energy transmission" which will amplify the flow of energy through your hands. This flow of energy will help speed up your physical, mental and emotional healing. Once you have become a Reiki "channel" this ability will stay with you for the rest of your life.

You will receive a comprehensive Level I Manual which includes the Reiki hand positions for treating yourself and others, together with a Level I Certificate.

My fee for the Reiki Level I class is $95 (concessions apply) which includes morning tea and a light lunch. A non-refundable deposit of $25 will confirm your place in the class.
