Reiki Lineage

Dr Usui passed on his Reiki Techniques to Dr Chujiro Hayashi of Tokyo, a retired 47 year old Naval Officer. Before Dr Usui died, he asked Dr Hayashi to accept the responsibility of preserving Reiki so that it would not again be lost to the past. Dr Hayashi accepted and set up a clinic in Japan.

Dr Hayashi had accepted Hawaya Takata as an apprentice and trained her as a Master and practitioner. She brought Reiki to Hawaii and the USA in the early 1970s. Phyllis Lei Furumoto (granddaughter to Mrs Takata) is now the Grandmaster of the Usui Reiki Tradition.

Below is my Reiki lineage.
