House Fire - Coromandel Valley - March 21 2003


A man was lucky to escape from a fire that extensively damaged his house at Coromandel Valley.

The fire started in the kitchen of the Main Road home shortly after midnight this morning.

Firefighters from Coromandel Valley and Blackwood attended the fire. They found the house well alight on arrival. The fire was completely extinguished within 25 minutes.

The fire started near a coil of electrical wire behind a wall oven. No one was injured in the blaze.
