I am convinced that juveniles raised by foster parents will never, never be a normal, healthy birds. They are definitely lacking in nesting habits and do not know how to raise their young. Many breeders claim that Gouldians is bad nest builders and bad parents, but you can bet your bottom dollar those displaying these characteristic were fostered birds. Birds raised in the foster situation just plainly do not know any better because they have been imprinted with the Bengali's habits
