The true story of the Gouldian as I see it

Spend practically all of my adolescent life breeding this magnificent finch, and I believe got to know them inside out.

So I can sincerely state that the myth about how difficult they are is incorrect you will be surprise how little they need to be a joy to have and breed, they can be with you for six to eight years in normal surroundings letting you enjoy there company, with the magnificent display of there colorful plumage, I am speaking here about all the Gouldians, all the Mutations including the stunning blue Mutation with the reputation of a week birds.

I have kept all kinds of Gouldians for a very long time now, with out going to extremes and produced lots of healthy robust youngsters that many Gouldian keepers all over Australia enjoy today, in every State there are lot of Gouldians which have my birds heritage.

To be successful give them good quality finch mix, fresh water, cutle fish, crashed eggshells, grid, and twice a week greens.

Keep them out of windy droughty aria, with good light, you be surprise how well you will be doing. Fred F.
