The Babble has arrived, the excitement mounts,
As the letter box was cleared after school,
"I bags it first," "my turn next," was the cry,
Then silence reigned ‘til it was read right through.

It started back in 1989,
When Glenda sent out issue number one,
T'was nameless till Bob gave the casting vote!
The Baggs' Babble was the title that won.

The memories the last ten years bring back
Engagements, weddings and more babies born,
Details of how our holidays were spent,
Christmas parties for all and camps on the lawn.

It's contained lots of puzzles and riddles,
Quizzes and games for everyone to do,
Graham and Jill are it's editors now,
And it arrives in full colour brand new!

The family news keeps us all enthralled,
Sometimes we've laughed at the antics there,
Other times we've cried at sad news we've read
But it's better for burdens to be shared.

Ros, Steve, Jill, Liz, Michelle, Matthew and Matt,
Have wed into this clan since ‘89,
Then add twelve babies born since then
This family tree's sprouting all the time.

The page with everyone's current address,
Needs a full time job keeping it up to date!
From Kyabram to Mullumbimby and more,
The Babble has travelled to your front gate.

Tricia and Steve have baby Lachlan now,
Boyfriends and girlfriends arrive now and then.
A Family keeps changing all the time,
As children grow to be women and men.

As The Babble is now 10 years of age.
Each one is a lot bigger than before,
Thankyou all for the enjoyment you give,
God has blessed our family more and more.
