KIRRILIE & MATTHEW
STOP PRESS!! RELEASE OF OVERTIME CD BY JiGSAW! AVAILABLE THROUGH MUSIC STORES SANITY, MUSES AND DILLONS.  The launch at the Stag Hotel on October 3rd went very well.... thanks to all those who came along. 
It’s all happening in the Smout household with TV appearances (AM Adelaide), radio airplay (Life FM), newspaper articles (Advertiser and Sunday Mail), street press (Rip it UP) reviews and much more! Matthew has become a huge star! (well at least in my eyes!!)  He is very fortunate in that he has got very favourable press, and great reviews. We're hoping for more regular radio play, but we'll see.. SAFM have been encouraging but non-committal, which is kind of the same story from the record companies. Anyway, its a long road yet, but exciting at the moment. 
Kirrilie's life is much less exciting, still working, playing basketball, doing speaking gigs and supporting Matthew! I have done some LIFE FM work (being the on-air counsellor! kind of like Frasier!) on Sunday nights from 10pm to 11.30pm, but am only doing that once a month now.

"In the last Decade..."

I think it is great that the Babble has been going for ten years and all of us here in the H.Baggs associated household very much appreciate the work that is put into it. I usually put it on our fridge, and when friends come over they look at it and laugh (in a nice way of course!) Ten years ago Matthew and I were 16 years old, which is how old we were when we first went out as a couple!!  Ten years ago we were also learning to drive, trying to decide what to do with our futures and being generally teenage drama queens and kings. Some of course would say "what's changed", but I think we drive quite well now!
