TRICIA AND STEVEN

Little Lachlan Kenneth has finally arrived!  I was ready to appear on the TV show, "That's Incredible", being the world's most pregnant woman - although Harold had told me that women rarely deliver past 12 months! While we were waiting for the birth, we enjoyed our last few days together as ‘a couple’, but it was hard to do while carrying an extra 20 kilos!  I certainly enjoyed being at home, doing the housewife thing - it sure beat teaching!   I finished up my part time job, but will return after the school holidays.
We have been busy in the garden whilst it is still wet from the rains, as it is easier to pull weeds!  We put Mum & Dad to work when they were here and we're starting to see the fruits of our labours... although I don't think Dad will load another barrow of horse manure for a while!  Thanks Mum, for all the help with the ‘baby shopping’... she also washed and folded all the new nappies.
Thanks also to those who came to visit me in hospital, all the way to Shepparton!
We are having air-conditioning installed in our home;  it was really necessary for the summer with a new baby in the house.  Lachlan is sleeping well, 4 hours solid, so we’re both very pleased about that!  Steve still has a few days of paternity leave left, so the garden will get some more attention.
"In the last Decade..."
On reflection over the last 10 years I can safely say there have been many huge changes and I'm happy with all of themI have moved, found a job, travelled, married, bought a house with cows around it and have started a family - all in that order and I guess if you'd asked me 10 years ago where Id see myself in 10 years, this would be itOf course I can't speak for Steven over the last 10 years - I've only known him for 8!!
