FOR
UNPEDIGREED CATS:
We
suggest you contact The Animal Welfare League and the
RSPCA. There are still not enough homes for all cats
and kittens received by these organisations. If you
just want a kitten or cat, and aren't particular about
his/her ancestry, they usually have some lovely pets for
sale -- and their prices include pre-sale Veterinary
inspection, desexing, first vaccination, and microchip
identification. Another option is the cat adoption
scheme - ask your vet about this. Buying a cat or kitten
through these avenues is much cheaper and easier than
getting a 'give-away', then having to arrange and pay for
everything yourself and it saves a kitten or cat from having
to be 'put down'. There are also opportunities to
choose an adult cat instead of a kitten, if this is more
appropriate to your needs and lifestyle.
DID
YOU KNOW?
Most
cat shows have classes and prizes for unpedigreed cats or
kittens.
A.W.L. and RSPCA. 'adoptees' are especially welcome.
