NATIONAL PARKS AND WILDLIFE RESERVES
FIRE RESTRICTIONS

The Director of National Parks and Wildlife has imposed park fire restrictions under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972.

The purpose of these fire restrictions is to ensure the safety of visitors using the Reserves, and in the interests of protecting the Reserves and neighbouring properties.

A cleared designated area for cooking purposes must comply with Section 36 (2) (a) of the Country Fires Act, 1989.

The use of fireworks are prohibited in all reserves with out written permission of the Director.

1 EYRE AND FAR WEST DISTRICTS
All reserves: All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. Gas fires are permitted (except on days of total fire bans). For further information, please contact the Port Lincoln District Office (08) 8688 3111 or CFS Hotline Freecall 1800 188 100.

2 SOUTHERN FLINDERS DISTRICT
The following reserves: Mount Remarkable National Park, Telowie Gorge Conservation Park, The Dutchmans Stern Conservation Park, Mount Brown Conservation Park, Winninowie Conservation Park - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. 3 FLINDERS DISTRICT
The following reserves: Flinders Ranges National Park, Gammon Ranges National Park - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 31 March 2000. 4 FAR NORTH DISTRICT
The following reserve: Witjira National Park. All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000 except for local residential Aboriginal people using traditional use of fires for cooking. 5 YORKE DISTRICT
The following reserve onfy: Innes National Park - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. 6 KANGAROO ISLAND DISTRICT
The following reserves: Flinders Chase National Park, Kelly Hill Conservation Park, Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park and Seal Bay Conservation Park - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. Gas fires are permitted (except on days of total fire bans). For further information, please contact the Kangaroo Island District Office (08) 8553 2381 or CFS Hotline Freecafl 1800 188 100.

7 FLEURIEU DISTRICT
The following reserves: Deep Creek Conservation Park, Newland Head Conservation Park and Tolderol Came Reserve - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 Noverriber 1999 to 30 April 2000. 8 LOFTY/BAROSSA DISTRICT
The following reserves: Morialta Conservation Park, Para Wirra Recreation Park,' Sandy Creek Conservation Park - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. Gas fires are permitted (except on days of total fire bans). For further information, please contact the Lofty/Barossa District Office, (08) 83360901 or CFS Hotline 8297 1000.

9 CLELAND CONSERVATION PARK
All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. Gas fires are permitted (except on days of total fire bans). For further information, please contact the Cleland Conservation Park Office (08) 8339 2444 or CFS Hotline 8297 1000.

10 STURT DISTRICT
The following reserve: Belair National Park - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. Gas fires are permitted (except on days of total fire bans). 11 COORONG DISTRICT, UPPER SOUTH EAST AND LOWER SOUTH EAST DISTRICT
All reserves: All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000. Please note: Wood fires are allowed between high water mark and low water mark of foreshore of the following reserves: Piccaninnie Ponds Conservation Park, Little Dip Conservation Park and Coorong National Park, except on days of total fire bans. Lower Glenelg River Conservation Park has a permanent prohibition of all wood fires. 12 BOOKMARK BIOSPHERE, MURRAYLANDS AND MALLEE DISTRICT
The following reserves: Bakara Conservation Park, Big Bend Reserve, Brookfield Conservation Park, Lowan Conservation Park, Marne Valley Conservation Park, Swan Reach Conservation Park, White Dam Conservation Park, Billiatt Conservation Park, Danggali Conservation Park, Kapunda Conservation Park, Karte Conservation Park, Loch Luna Conservation Park, Maize Island Conservation Park, Media Island Conservation Park, Moorook Conservation Park, Morgan Conservation Park, Murray River National Park (which includes Katarapko Game Reserve, Lyrup Flats, Bulyong Island), Ngarkat Conservation Park (which includes Mount Shaugh, Mount Rescue, Scorpion Springs), Peebinga Conservation Park, Pike River Conservation Park, Rilli Island Conservation Park - All wood fires (or solid fuel fires) are prohibited from 1 November 1999 to 30 April 2000.
