A.A.L.S. Easter Convention

was hosted by the
Penfield Model Engineers Society.From Thursday the 5th to Monday the 9th of April 2012Another successful Convention is over and our many happy visitors are again returning to their homes. The Committee and Members extend their thanks to every one who attended and hope that everyone enjoyed their visit to South Australia and the Convention. See you all at Warner next Easter.
Our thanks to S.A.S.M.E.E. for hosting a run for 3½" and small 5" gauge Locos on Easter Monday!
A very successful Pre Convention run was held at the Roseworthy Railway. Post Convention Runs were held at S.A.S.M.E.E. and Morphett Vale.
It is unfortunate that one Adelaide Club thinks that a Post Convention Run means holding a run during the Convention. Hopefully if they hold a Post Convention Run next time we host a Convention, they will get into the spirit of things and actually hold it after the Easter Weekend and not try to "Compete with the Convention"? (Thanks a lot guys!)
