Welcome to Tumby Bay, a friendly little town with a peaceful lifestyle and a temperate climate, which makes it the ideal place for a relaxing holiday at any time of the year. Tumby Bay boasts white, sandy beaches and offers excellent fishing from jetty, boat, rock and beach. Tumby Bay's marina has a boat launching facility and a local charter boat is available to take you on fishing or scenic tours of the nearby Sir Joseph Bank's Group of Islands.

Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish, with the most sought after being the famous King George Whiting. The jetty, at night, can usually be relied upon to provide the tasty Tommy Ruff.

The picturesque bay, situated on the Eyre Peninsula's eastern coast, is centrally located to all Lower Eyre Peninsula attractions. A comprehensive list of things to see and do is contained in the Tumby Bay, Port Neill and districts tourism brochure, including details for suggested one day drives into the surrounding countryside.

Tumby Bay has a modern, well equipped hospital, chemist, dentist, ample shopping and sporting facilities include a bowling green, tennis courts, croquet green, netball and basketball courts, golf course and oval.
