It always makes me happy, knowing that He’s there
And that He hears me if I’m in need.

Then on the darkest of nights
I have my own inner light
To guide my footsteps
And show me the path
The light that Jesus gives me when I talk to Him
And know that I’m secure in His care.

Upon the brightest of days
When everythings looking good
The world is perfect
And nothing is wrong
I feel the need to thank Him for my happiness
And for the knowledge that He is there.

So whether life’s good or bad
Think of the Lord and be glad
Think of the promise
that He made to You
That if you call upon Him He will hear your voice
And He will always listen to you.
