The Cloud of Unknowing

In the cloud of unknowing,
God’s breath with it’s power,
Has blown the dark mist
Of confusion away.
Unveiling our eyes,
To expand our horizons.
And taking our souls,
Into His boundless care.

With the love incandescent,
Of Godhead incarnate.
He gave up His life,
‘midst derision and scorn.
And tendered in blood,
By the death that He suffered.
The ransome for us,
To be free evermore.

On the wings of redemption,
From death He has risen.
Dispelling the fears,
That in darkness abound.
Broadcasting His seeds,
In the soil of our spirits.
To tend them with love,
‘til His harvest shall come.

In the Twilight of dawning,
His star is yet glowing.
Its light is the beacon,
That guides us to Him.
His radiant love,
And the glow of His presence.
Are flames of the fire,
That will never grow cold.
