In His perfection, He brings direction,
guiding our journey through life,
sometimes amending, ever defending,
us in a world full of strife.
We in repentance of our delinquence,
seek consolation from Him,
who in compassion grants us forgiveness,
and the sure shield of His love.

He in rejection, and crucifixion,
suffered, that He might atone,
broken and bleeding, yet interceding,
taking our faults as His own
May we be worthy of His great mercy
reconciled fully to Him,
and by acceptance of our redemption,
join in His body as one.

In the effulgent glow of that union,
we are made whole by His dawn,
which, as it brightens, raises and lightens,
spirits enwearied and worn.
Let pure emotion, burn with devotion,
fired by our knowledge of Him,
whose resolution - sweet revolution,
changes our lives evermore.
