He came to us to teach the word of His Father,
and to give to us His own blessed law.
To love other people as we wish them to love us,
forgive our enemies and give them our hand.
Shout jubilation for the word of the Lord,
let us rejoice and sing with one accord.

The love He gives us passes all understanding,
lapping round us like a life-giving sea.
If love is the ocean we must swim ever deeper,
seeking the bounty of the Lord to survive.
Sing alleluia for the water of love,
in joyeous homage to the Lord above.

His promise is that He’ll be with us forever,
there beside us on the difficult road.
His love is the staff that we can always rely on,
holding us up where we might stumble or fall.
In celebration let our voices ring out,
praising the Lord with song and joyous shout.

His spirit fills us with a love of creation,
filling us with joy and reverent awe.
For all of the beauty with which we are surrounded,
all of the blessings that the Lord has bestowed.
In adoration praise the things He has made,
all of the wonders that He has displayed.
