In our joyous faith we call,
the name of Him who saved us,
by His victory o’er the grave,
King of all kings.
May our words shake earth’s foundations,
as in triumph we sing,
soaring anthems to our saviour,
Lord and King.

In His name we dare to do,
the things that were once barred us,
by a colder, smaller world,
scornful of Him.
We exult in His commandment,
and by love are consumed,
loving Him as our redeemer,
Lord and King.

Neither earthly doubts and fears,
nor mocking words aimed at us,
can deter us from the faith,
we place in Him.
Nor shall fortune’s aimless arrows,
make us falter and fall,
we are guarded by our master,
Lord and King.

So in faith and hope we live,
no wrong can overwhelm us,
evil shall not penetrate,
His shielding love.
Let the shrinking heart be strengthened,
and the feeble made strong,
in the cause of our redeemer,
Lord and King.
