Though the hand of man betrayed Him,
by His death He saved all men,
for the king once sold for silver,
has returned as King again.
And the pain endured so bravely,
is the price He willingly paid,
to obtain the world’s salvation on,
that blessed Eastertide.

And the tomb which once enclosed Him,
stood wide open to the light,
where the hand of God had entered,
to dispel the dark of night.
To raise on high His only son,
to sit at His right hand,
and we worship Him in confidence,
this blessed Eastertide.

From the past, the present, the future,
all of time shall have one voice,
and the sounding of it’s anthem
shall make all of earth rejoice.
At the name of Jesus Christ, our,
true redeemer and lord of all,
and the choirs of heaven join us on,
this blessed Eastertide.
