Ch Balnacoin Mlinzi Mou ET (Vishala Qalisa ET x Ch Shelridge Avant Garde ET) AVA Hips 1:1 = 2 d.o.b 19.10.97 I tell people that Mlinzi stayed at home because she was too naughty to give to anybody else! And after her well-behaved laid-back mother, she certainly was a surprise! Maybe because she did mature earlier than her mother or maybe because I had learnt a little about conformation showing Mlinzi has been quite successful in the showring. Of course I believe her to be quite beautiful too! She has been RUBISS and at the Perth National Specialty she was Res Ch Bitch. In property classes at our specialties she is a multi best headed and ridged winner. |

Some of the nice things judges have said about her: “A lovely bitch head, well carried. Good strong neck. Ideal depth of chest and powerful back. Well shaped feet with good pads. Pleasing moderate rear angulation.” (Bernard Fears NZ.) “Good foreface and good forechest, good topline and good hind angulation” (Norah Griffen Zimbabwe) "Nice breed type, she moved clean coming and going and flowed around the ring"(Sandra Fikes U.S.A) “Good head and expression, good topline and ridge” (Jane Armatys, Tasmania) And (my favourite, for obvious reasons!): "Feminine head. Excellent angulation of the back. Good bone structure. Moves like a star. The lady's not well trained to handle her (!) but she's doing her best most probably(!) Good topline, underline is excellent but especially the movement is exquisite. Very long reach in front." (Richard van Aken SouthAfrica)
Mlinzi has been a wonderful mother to two litters, the latter being twelve healthy pups which she raised successfully and completely on her own. From her first litter Ashiki (Aus. Ch Balnacoin Burnt Toffee ET) has gone on to take over her mother's mantel, winning Dam & Progeny at the Queensland National in 2006. Her offspring Cooper ( Aus. Ch Balnacoin Kelton) is also successful in the showring and has introduced his owner Jana Tolmacheva to the delights and frustrations of The DogWorld.
