CRITICAL ARM TABLE

If fighting hand to hand and not using a weapon then any roll of 76 or higher shatters the limb instead of cutting it, but still with the same results.
01-50 The blow breaks his fingers. Anything he was holding in that hand is dropped and he cant use it again until it is medically treated. Full use of the hand wont return for at least D4 weeks. 
51-75 The blow dislocates his arm and cuts open muscle. As above but if not treated within opponent's PE x1 round it will turn gangrene. It will then require D20 weeks to regain full use of the arm if at all.
76-87 The blow cuts off the arm at his wrist. Any item is dropped (along with the hand). If not immediately bandaged he will suffer 3 HP damage per round until he dies from blood loss. Whether the hand can be reattached depends on the technology level of the campaign.
88-93 The blow cuts off the arm at the elbow. As above but takes 6 HP per round.
94-97 The blow cuts off the arm at the shoulder. As above but takes 9 HP per round and collapses.
98-99 As before but the blow also severs a major artery causing death within D4 rounds.
