Geometric Magicana
The school of Geometricy is concerned with the fashioning and animation of non-living matter, with the conjuration of enchantments of an enduring nature and, most importantly with the creation of potent magical items.
Most of the ritual magic of this school may only be practiced within an Artificer's workshop.
| Animate Golem | Range: Touch Duration: 4 rounds per 5 WIS Save: None Mana: 25 This spell will animate any golem that has been created but not already animated. The Golem will obey only the caster unless he transfers ownership of it to another. |
| Bind Golem | Range: Touch or line of sight Duration: 4 rounds per 5 WIS Save: Standard Mana: 25 This is used to take control of any golems in the area not belonging to the caster. If the golem belongs to someone else then it becomes a contest of wills. |
| Detect Enchantment | Range: Touch Duration: Instant Save: None Mana: 5 This allows the caster to determine whether an item, person, or area within 1 metre diametre per WIS is currently under an enchantment. This enchantment may be an operating spell, a ward, an invested spell or any other magical charm. Magical beings (conjured or summoned) may also be detected by this. It does not tell the enchantment is only whether or not there is an enchantment and if it is dangerous. |
| Dispell Ward | Range: Touch Duration: Instant Save: None Mana: 10 + an amount equal to what was first used in the curse This dispells any curse placed on an item. |
| Enchant Amulet | Range: Touch Duration: Instant Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use amulets as receptacles to various abilities. |
| Enchant Armour | Range: Touch Duration: 1 hour per WIS Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use armour and shields as receptacles to various abilities. |
| Enchant Building | Range: Touch Duration: 1 hour per WIS Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use tents, huts and even houses as receptacles to various abilities. The size he can affect is 1 square metre per WIS +1 per level. |
| Enchant Clothing | Range: Touch Duration: WIS x1 day Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use hats, pants, shirts and other clothing as receptacles to various abilities. |
| Enchant Furniture | Range: Line of sight Duration: 1 round per WIS Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use tables, chairs and other furniture as receptacles to various abilities. |
| Enchant Jewellery | Range: Line of sight Duration: 1 round per WIS Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use gems, necklaces, rings and other forms of jewellery as receptacles to various abilities. |
| Enchant Liquid | Range: Line of sight Duration: 1 round per WIS Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use any potion as a receptacle to various abilities. |
| Enchant Vehicle | Range: Line of sight Duration: 1 round per WIS Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use wagons, carts, cars, trucks, boats and any other vehicle as a receptacle to various abilities. The size he can affect is 1 square metre per WIS +1 per level. |
| Enchant Wand | Range: Touch Duration: Permanent Save: Standard Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use rods, wands and staves as receptacles to various abilities. |
| Enchant Weapon | Range: Touch Duration: 1 hour per WIS Save: None Mana: 15 This allows the caster to use weaponry as receptacles to various abilities. |
| Increase Armour Potency | Range: Touch Duration: 1 round per WIS Save: None Mana: 30 + amount used to increase Increases a shield's or armour's AC by 1 per 10 mana spent. |
| Increase Weapon Potency | Range: Touch Duration: 1 round per WIS Save: None Mana: 30 + amount used to increase Either increases the selected weapon's thaco by +1 or damage by +1 per 10 mana spent. |
| Remove Curse | Range: Touch Duration: 4 rounds per 5 WIS Save: None Mana: 10 + an amount equal to what was first used in the curse This dispells any curse placed on an item. |
| Repair | Range: Touch Duration: Instant Save: None Mana: 20 Any single broken item weighing up to 1 pound per WIS, + 1 pound per mana may be mended. A mended object becomes exactly as it was before it was broken, so if it was deformed in some way (eg. a sword was bent) it would retain that deformity. |
| Reveal | Range: Touch Duration: 4 rounds per 5 WIS Save: None Mana: 5 Through this spell the caster may discover what magic has been placed on an object. |
| Stone to Flesh | Range: Touch Duration: Instant Save: None Mana: 20 This allows the caster to turn one entity or object that has been turned to stone by enchanted creatures or magical means back into flesh. Any clothing or other items that were turned to stone with a figure are restored to their normal state with that figure. |
| Ward Item | Range: Touch Duration: 1 day per WIS Save: None Mana: See below This may be imbued into any item to prevent unwanted use. The owner must be present to imprint his ID onto the object as soon as this is cast. Once this is done no other person can activate any of the magical abilities of the item without dispelling the ward with an amount at least equal to how much was invested in the ward. The mana cost is 40 + however much additional mana the owner wants invested in it. |
