Heroe's Lost Era
2101 AD - Earth enters a period of barbarism where science is highly centralized in feudal city-states ruled by Techno-Barons. Biofactories and Technomancers are now much sought after. In most countries their more desolate areas are abandoned with only road trains still permitted to travel through. As a result inland settlements and smaller coastal towns are abandoned. Survivours form tribal groups fighting over the few remaining sources of food and energy. Some of the survivors live in primitive harmony, while others form towns where savage violence is a way of life. Only the Parliament of Nature remains as a beacon of light in this age of darkness.
2129 AD - Asteroid 1981 Midas comes within 0.0485 Astronomical Units distance of Earth. It enters into orbit around the earth on the opposite side to the moon.
2157 AD - After the Vatican's collapse many Church secrets were revealed. The Templars true to their nature fulfill their duties of eliminating all its corrupt members. A new priesthood under the guidance of the Parliament of Nature arises. This new Church is more flexible, being accepting of all life. Only in Italy, France and Spain does a semblance of government begin to reform led by the new Vatican and Parliament of Nature. This new society is built on the ideals of the original Roman Empire.
2160 AD - First Illuminati Loremasters appear. They travel secretly across America attempting to teach people the rudiments of basic electronics and mechanics, attempting to restore civilisation.
2161 AD - The Parliament of Nature becomes aware of the Illuminati's activities and sends a small team headed by Lorenzo Dinesio (a Geomancer) to begin negotiations with them. After a battle with South East Asian sea pirates the team finally arrives at America.
2175 AD - The Parliament of Nature help the slaves in Australia to rebel against their Techno-Baron despots. Through a coordinated effort they overthrow and execute all the Techno-Barons, ending the Age of Despotism. Communications are restored between the city-states and a new democratic government is founded.
2176 AD - Contact is established between New Australia and New Rome. An alliance is formed to wipe out the sea pirates.
2180 AD - American society finally reaches eighteenth century levels.
2190 AD - In New Rome progress towards alternative fuels is made.
2200 AD - Pluto switches ranking with Neptune and becomes the 8th planet from the sun.
