Welcome to Mikata.

Mikata is situated in Adelaide, South Australia. I have been breeding Burmese and Siamese since 1968 and for the last decade or so have been breeding Orientals. I breed most colours but in the Siamese and Orientals I specialise in the tabby patterns.

At Mikata my first priority is to breed happy and healthy, well adjusted cats. All of our kittens are raised inside, underfoot, on shoulders and in beds! Mikata kittens are fully vaccinated and desexed at 12 weeks old, unless of course the kitten has been sold for breeding purposes. I strive for excellence in show type and elegance, with the standard always in mind. I am are very interested in improving clarity of colour and pattern.

On my other pages you will see some British Shorthairs with the prefix Tudor....this was my British Shorthair prefix when I had a short spell of breeding British.
