The kitchen is nearby to provide a wide variety of meats and accompaniments if you wish to cook your own barbecue.
An outdoor barbecue and entertaining area is located between the original building and the 'stable' complex. Protected from the sun by a complete shade cloth enclosure, the open area again uses the Mintaro slate and is a perfect place for breakfast on a balmy morning, lunch on a sunny afternoon, or for a quiet drink whenever.
