Note for: Theora Keynes, MAY 1857 - BEF 06 MAY 1857 Index
Buried in Plot B12, unmarked
The only reference ever found to Theora was in the Kapunda burial registe r where a Theora KEYNES was buried - see burial; there is no record o f a birth or a death in State records, so birth is assumed shortly befor e death and burial; note that Jacob died at about this time but no recor d of his burial appears in the Kapunda Register. Further investigation w ith Kapunda District Council revealed a comment in the burial record whic h might have been 'baby', suggesting that Theora was still-born accountin g for the fact that there was no birth or death record. Gawler Public Li brary Barossa Registration records have no reference to Theora.
