Welcome to my home page!
This is the place where I'll be showing off some of my writing, some of my art, and some of my other stuff. I'm still learning everything I'm trying to do, so please bear with me. Then again, we never really stop learning, do we? So it's all relative I guess.
Just to give you a brief over-view of everything...
I have a teaching degree, science degree (in sports science), diploma of journalism, certificate 1 in computing, various coaching qualifications and a certificate in recreation centre management.
So, essentially, I am unemployable.
I have also had the most horrific knee injury. In 2003 I was training for a performance on my trampoline (Olympic sized). Unfortunately, due to my own laziness, I had not kept it in good nick and the bed ripped whilst I was jumping... at a height greater than the roof of my house. The tibia and fibula ended up on either side of my femur and my patella ended up on the inside of my leg. I ruptured all 4 ligaments in my knee. After surgery, my medial and lateral collaterals were sewn up, my posterior cruciate was pinned... and my anterior cruciate was an exploded mess. I still don't have one. My surgeon told me I'd never run again... but I am back doing performance gymnastics... despite dislocating the other knee twice and tearing the muscles in my shoulder girdle.
