This is a service geared specifically to the repair, re-veneering and refinishing of the dress woodwork of cars from the veteran era to the late 1980's.

 

Garth Pennington is a passionate car enthusiast.  He has more than 30 years experience in preserving and restoring classic vehicles. The greatest care is taken to offer you a quality service which will enhance and add value to your precious car.

 

The term "Dress Woodwork" is used to distinguish the dash, glove box lid, instrument cluster, door caps and surrounds, ashtray, and picnic trays etc. from structural timber such as chassis and body frames.

Services include:

  • Removal and refitting of your car's woodwork

  • Careful removal of previous finish

  • Repairs to wood and veneers

  • Re-veneering, including complex curved surfaces

  • Use of colours and textures that are reflective of the car and the era
