1975 GT

"Ok I am on a roll here. Now here is the RA22 1975 coup. It had an 18R-C in it but has been updated to an 18R-GU. Much nicer to drive. It is a GT with a 5 speed trans. Mostly original. Interior is needing a little TLC, mostly the head liner. It is my main runner. I take the Fastback and convertible out on nicer days.

Now if that’s not enough, Rodney also owns a very rare Celica sunchaser. I don't normally post Celica pics that are not 71-77, however this Celica is very rare, so it deserves its place here as well.

"Me again. Here is my 81 SunChaser. I know, a bit newer then the good old original ones but I had to have it. I saw one when I was 17 and wanted it so bad but at $7900 it was out of my price range. I found a photo of one and carried it in my wallet for years. I found this one in a salvage yard and bought it for $300. I put a battery in a drove it away! LOL It was not in good shape then but over several years and lots of TLC it is almost complete. I have the interior left to do. It has a 20R in it and it is quite the dog! It is fun to drive in the summer though. Apparently there is a Celica book with an article on this model Sunchaser. I am still wanting a copy of that book. The author was "Long". He has written a lot of books on cars. This one is long out of print though. Back to the car! It has a three speed automatic with the overdrive. Nice cruiser. All original but the A/C again. Gone of course. Never could understand why a person would have A/C in a convertible."

For the record, Rodney tells me this is a RA44. Most likely the only one you will ever see.

If you missed it, Rodney also owns a very rare and unique RA25 GT Liftback. Click here to see it.

Well done Rodney. Thanks again for the pics.
