No litters planned for the immediate future

All our puppies are carefully raised in our home in a clean and loving
environment with lots of mental stimulus and socialization making Taison poodles
sound, intelligent, trainable and well adjusted happy puppies.
We are one of the few kennels
actively DNA testing for the hereditary eye disease - Progressive Retinal
Atrophy (PRA).
We are in the process of DNA
testing all of our breeding stock for prcd-PRA.
Litters will have at least one parent that is prcd-PRA Optigen A (a non
carrier) which means your
miniature poodle puppy will not go blind prematurely with prcd-PRA.
This process is not only time
consuming but also very expensive as blood samples are taken, sent to
Queensland for extraction of the DNA and then the DNA is sent to Optigen in the
USA for analysis. We are committed to the improvement of the breed and the
health and welfare of our puppies so we consider this is a very necessary step.
Please note we do not participate
in Poodle crossing to make designer dogs like the Miniature Labradoodle.

I get asked this
question all the time. Although I love all my poodles if I could only have one
it would be a male and most breeders would probably agree with me. Males are
simple, sweet, straight forward and very loving. Neutered by six months they do
not learn to lift their leg and are quite easy to house train. Females are
complex, independent, loving and sometimes moody. They have a mind of their own
and will wrap you around their little paws in no time flat. If you cannot make
up your mind then one of each sex is what I would recommend !
