"Taylor"

"Taylor" was my special little man who touched the hearts of all who knew him with his handsome face and irresistible personality. Tragically he was taken from me in November 2002. It broke my heart but I take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and happily waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge.

"Taylor" was not only a great little showman, but also a lovely producer and a wonderful ambassador for the breed. His outstanding breed type, soundness and temperament ensured his success in the show ring. He gained his first Best in Show from the Junior Class at the very first South Australian Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Championship Show and followed it up the next year with another Best in Show at the club's second Championship Show. To date he is the only South Australian Owner Bred Dog to achieve this result. "Taylor" was not only my treasured little showman, he was my friend and he will be forever missed.

Multiple Best in Specialty Shows

Top Toy - Toy Dog Club of SA "Top Toy Awards" 1997

Multiple Best in Group Awards

Multiple Runner up In Group Awards

Classes in Group and In Show Awards

1996 - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of SA Inaugural Championship Show

Judge: Mrs Diana Schilizzi (Chacombe Cavaliers - UK) “Very well balanced boy with beautiful angulation. Well marked. Nice head, good spring of ribs and depth of body throughout. His overall balance stood out.”

1997 - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of SA Championship Show

Judge: Mrs Hilary McQuaid (Hilarny Cavaliers - UK) “I liked this boy a lot. Blenheim, well marked, with lovely eyes, excellent pigment throughout and wonderful ears. Good conformation. Went well fore and aft. A very stylish dog, showed with confidence. Maybe his tail carriage betrayed him a little but with so many attributes to offer in this class, he scored for me. Beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed with the happy, outgoing temperaments from this kennel.”

2001 - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of SA Championship Show

Judge: Mrs Erna Britt Nordin (Cavamirs Cavaliers - Sweden) "Very good in type and size. Nicely marked, classical head, strong body and movement, happy."
